Rain got me yesterday, so today I shall try again. Kay’s wanting to do a Day Lilly bed, as we have nearly a hundred to plant as it is. Then we’ve got literally bunches of other little plants to get out. Amongst all this, we have several fruit trees to plant, and I’ve still got nine Roses to get out.
It’s windy as all get out, but it’s not raining, might as well try it. I’m really shocked that our Wild Roses are already perking up and I just planted them yesterday. Need to move a couple feeders today as well (didn’t think the placement out well, squirrels and tender plants don’t mix).
Our African Violets may not do so well when it’s all said and done. For the time, they’re doing great, but we’ve got them in small pots in a large mailbox. The mailbox just seemed to need a place in the garden, and the African Violets needed a place out of the direct sun. Worked out great. All we had to do was rotate the front row to the back every so often………… No more though. We’ve got some beautiful little birds in there (not sure what yet, don’t want to scare them) building an elaborate nest. Our mailbox African Violets are now comfy cover for some purdy little birds.
Well, I can’t get two days out of one, so I’d better get to it.
