Would you see my vision if I showed it to you
If I guided your mind to see for your eyes
Would you see me there when I'm not in view
Look now if you will at a painting I prize
Follow the brush as I tint the edge of your smile
See the paint flow as the brush leaves shadows and light
Take in the warmth of the beauty that is your face
Breath in the colors of the paths of your life
A glint in your eyes, a shading of sun in your hair
A soft glow to your cheeks, and jewels for your ears
A hint of mystery on your brows and again on your chin
Almost done with your picture, in truth it's all here
See the painting of you is of my eyes and my vision
Here in this painting is my you and that is the mission
For all that it is, and all it might be
Know here and now that I like what I see
I tell you the truth, for there's no other way
